Abstract: All three known species of Apocolotois, A. arnoldiaria, A.smirnovi and A. almatensis are reported and their taxonomy revised in the present paper. A new junior synonym is stated: Chariaspilates shuangzhu Yang=A.smirnovi (Romanoff). A. almatensis is recorded as new to China. The genus characters are summarized and a key to the species is given. Illustrations of adults and genitalia are presented. The biogeographical features of the genus and included species are discussed.
