Abstract: This paper reports two new species of grasshoppers of Catantopidae from Hunan, C hina：Caryanda xuefeng~shanensis sp.nov., collected from Huangsang Nature Reserve in Suining County and Sinopodisma daweishana sp.nov., collected from Daweishan Nature Reserve in Liuyang County of Hunan Province. Type specimens of new species are deposited in Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University, except some paratypes of C.xuefengshanensis sp.nov. are deposited in the Department of Biology,Hunan Educational College.
