Description of one new subgenus and one new species of Siphon atrophia Swain in Aphididae (Homoptera: Aphidoidea) from China

Abstract

Abstract: This paper deals with one new subgenus and one new species of the genus Siphonatrophia Swain from Tianchi, Xinjiang, China:Siphonatro phia subgen. Lacusaphis Zhang G., subgen. Nov. and Siphonatrophia (Lascu saph is) aetherelaca Zhang et Zhang, sp. Nov. All the type specimens are deposi ted in the Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
