Abstract: Two species of biting midges (Culicoides tibetensis Chu and Culicoides indianus Macfie) were previously known only from females. The descriptive notes on the newly found males hitherto unknown are presented hereon. The specimens are deposited in the collection of Department of Parasitology, Second Military Med-ical University, Shanghai, China.
