Abstract: A new species, Coenosia ungulipardus sp. nov., is described and illustrated from Sichuan Province, China. A new group C. ungulipardusgroup is proposed, the main characters of which are as follows:frontal triangle of male extending to middle of frons; without outer vertical bristle; antenna normal; lower squama short and small, dc 1+3; legs black, t₃ with 2 ad; cerci and surstyli slender, epiphallus evident. The type specimen is deposited in Shenyang Normal College.
