Abstract: The paper deals with 17 species of genus Cryphaeus Klug, 1833 from China, of which 4 new species to science are described and illustrated:C. brevicornus sp. nov., C. longicornus sp. nov., C. barbellatus sp. nov. and C.obliquicornus sp. nov. The type specimens of new species are preserved in the Museum of Hebei University. A key to the known species of the genus from China and Japan is given.
