Abstract: Aculeococcus was established in 1941 by Lepage for the peculiar species A. morrisoni Lepage, the material was collected from Brazil on an undetermined plant. Till the year1957, Ferris correctly assigned to the family Eriococcidae, but didn't yet know the correctposition of the family m systematic, and never found another members in the genus.
