Abstract: The taxonomy of Chinese species of the Tetrigidae belonging to the genus Coptotettix Bolivar is revised. Altogether 12 species have been recorded, of which 2 species, C. longtanensis sp. Nov. and C. rupticosta sp. Nov. are described as new to science. One species, C. fugongensis Zheng et Mao is identified as a new synonym of C. ongjiangensis Zheng et Wei. One species, C. interrupta Zheng et Mao is transferred to the genus Hedotettix as a new combination, Hedotettix interrupta (Zheng et Mao, 1997). A key to the Chinese species is provided.
