Abstract: The influences of different factors in extraction on the antibacterial activity of protein crude protein extracts from the induced third-instar larvae of housefly (Musca domestica) were assayed. The antibacterial activity of protein crude extracts was measured with diffusion plate assay. The results showed that the antibacterial activity of crude extracts was affected by such factors as the temperature of boiling larvae to death, the duration of boiled water bath and the pH of extraction buffer.
