Abstract: The present study lime light the identification of 28 tetrigid species from Malaysia. Six species viz. Phaesticus azemii sp. nov., Discotettix adenanii sp. nov, Discotettix selangori sp. nov., Scelimena hafizaii sp. nov, Scelimena razalii sp. nov., and Gavialidium phangensum sp. nov. are new to science which are described in detail. Eleven species are new records for Malaysia. In addition, key to the local genera and species has also been constructed.
